Refund policy

Returns
Our policy on Medicines and Foods(No Fish) lasts 7** days. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. All Returns/Cancellations will incur a 20% restocking fee. (This is to cover Paypal and Credit Card Fees) We will only hold orders for a maximum of 7 days, after that your order will be refunded minus 20%. 
**Excludes all Fish. We do not under any circumstance accept the returning of Live Fish or Frozen Beefheart Mix. Shipping cost are never Refunded. 

We will only exchange or refund any unopened medicines 
To be eligible for a return, you must return the item and it must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Wholesale Customers Only**: A DOA claim may only be used once per transaction. If your first order is DOA we will replace the second order but without a DOA Guarantee. You will be issued a store credit for the DOA and the second order will not be eligible for the discount. The second order will not be eligible for a wholesale Discount. If there are any delays with the shipping courier (USPS,FEDEX,UPS)  this WILL VOID ALL DOA CLAIMS. Claims must be presented to the shipping company for possible reimbursement. Shipping cost are Never refunded under any circumstances.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food(Beefheart Mix), Any Type of Live Fish cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases and or Liquids of any type.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 

- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then will will issue you a credit toward your next purchase.

Shipping cost are Never refunded under any circumstances. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable) (Excludes all Fish)

Shipping

We do not under any circumstances accept the return of any fish! If there any delays with Fedex and your package is delayed then you must file a claim directly with them, this will also void out our DOA Policy, no exceptions.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Rest assure your Discus are protected by our "Live Arrival Guarantee". In the unlikely event of a DOA (dead on arrival), you must contact myrtlebeachdiscus@gmail.com within 2 HR of first delivery attempt. Provide 1 clear pictures of the deceased fish inside the bag then send us a 10 second video of the fish outside of the bag, placed on a napkin. If all steps are properly followed we will immediately issue you a store credit for your next shipment. If the package is returned to shipper(MBD) for any reason this will immediately Void all DOA Claim. Please note Shipping Cost are never covered under our Live Arrival Guarantee.

No Returns. Please do not try and send us back any Fish.

Once the Discus are placed inside of your tank we can no longer take responsibility. All of our Discus are quarantined for up to 3 weeks, we treat them for all types of parasites and make sure they are dewormed. Please Quarantine all new arrivals for atleast 4 weeks. Any and all cancellations will result in a 20% service charge, no exceptions. We are in the business of selling high quality fish, all fish are guaranteed within 1/2 in. Our pictures are for descriptive purposes only, each fish is different and will show different patterns and colors. 

If you purchase a breeding pair and one happens to die in transit we will either issue you a store credit for the (1) that died or replace it. Once again shipping cost are non refundable. We do not file or handle and claims with Fedex. If your order arrives later than expected then you must contact Fedex directly. 

What happens if I receive the wrong fish?

If you received the wrong fish, contact us within 24hrs of arrival. If the fish you paid for is more money, then we will issue you a store credit for the difference. We will also issue you a 10% off coupon on your next order. Once again shipping cost are non refundable. If a fish is missing from your order we will issue you a store credit for the fish.
