How To Use and Care for the Filter

1. Rinse throughly with aquarium water first before use to remove ceramic dust
2. Do not rinse with chlorinated tap water after beneficial bacteria colonizes. 
3. Place in a filter compartment, mesh bag, sump or straight in your aquarium with steady water flow or airline.
4. Clean your filter off using aquarium water only every 3-6 months for optimal efficiency
