Discus Illnesses Part II

Aquarium Salt (Sodium Chloride), This is used to fend off parasites and speed up recovery from shipping and certain wounds. Salt is very safe and almost impossible to overdose. Dosage 1tsp per 10g. 

Epsom Salt (Magnesium Sulfate). Epsom salt will relieve bloated fish. Sometimes certain pellets and flakes will make them bloat up. While you are deworming your fish use espom salt to clear out their guts(we will touch on this later). Occasionally Discus show signs of bloat if they have an internal bacterial infection. Dosage 1tsp per 10g.
